180 or 360 Excavator Training
Objective:
To provide comprehensive training for an excavator's safe and efficient operation, ensuring trainees understand the machinery, safety protocols, and operational techniques.
Key Components:
Introduction to Excavators: Types, uses, and basic components.
Pre-Operational Checks: Daily inspections, fluid levels, and wear and tear checks.
Safety Protocols: Personal protective equipment (PPE), site safety, and hazard identification.
Operating Techniques: Basic controls, manoeuvring, digging, lifting, and trenching.
Maintenance: Regular maintenance tasks, troubleshooting common issues.
Practical Exercises: Hands-on practice in operating the excavator under supervision.
Duration:
Renewals: 1-day refresher and test (£250)
Beginners: 5-days, including training and test (£1,250). A maximum of 2 persons.
Certification:
Participants receive operator certification through The Association of Industrial Truck Trainers (AITT) or City & Guilds. Where City & Guilds is used for training and assessment, this can count towards the NVQ process.
Training Location:
On customer site/premises.
